Request Account & Data Deletion — Ting Notifications

This page is for users of the Ting Notifications mobile app (the app that receives notifications from businesses you follow) who want to request deletion of their account and data.

How to request deletion

Email [email protected] from the email address linked to your account in the app (or tell us the username/email you sign in with — if you use anonymous device-ID login, tell us your profile name or a business you follow so we can verify it's you), with the subject "Ting Notifications account deletion request". We'll process the deletion within 7 business days and confirm once it's done.

Data that will be deleted

Your profile name, profile photo, linked email (if any), device ID, push notification token, and the full list of businesses you follow/subscribe to.

Data that may be retained

Notification history sent by a business through the platform may remain in that business's own records for as long as required for their legal or accounting obligations, even after your recipient account is deleted — this data is not directly controlled by Ting Notifications.
